... I may live in a house but
my home is in the barn. Unknown.
Perhaps this quote
best describes me and most of my friends, both two and four legged.
Blessed with a terrific family, I am fortunate to specialize
in equine and canine photography in addition to living and working
on our family's horse breeding farm. As a graduate of The Ohio
State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education,
I continue to work at our local health department with HIV positive
individuals. Travel with my photography in 2007 has me to New York,
Kentucky, Florida, Oregon and Toronto where I have photographed the
most fascinating people and the animals that make their lives
whole.
My greatest personal interest lies in harness horses,
of Standardbred racing, pleasure driving and CDE competitions.
I am a strong proponent of racehorse placement programs and regularly
volunteer with New Vocations Racehorse Adoption. I currently
have two Hackney Horses which I ride and drive along with two
Hackney ponies (yard ornaments) and four Standardbred mares.
Perhaps my toughest critics are my rat terrier Crouton and Runway,
King of the barn cats.
